Barbara Meiklejohn-free, also known as the 'Highland Seer' will be sharing her adventures with us as she celebrates festivals and gatherings around the world with like minded souls.

Barbara’s show this month comes from Luxor in Egypt where her guests include people who were drawn to Egypt and settled there as well as an Egyptian, native to Luxor whose home is being moved away from the ancient tombs where he has always lived

Section one:  Barbara describes her connection with ancient Egypt, her experience in the Great Pyramid and her love of this fascinating country

Section two:  Khaled is an Egyptian who has always lived almost at the entrance to Hatshepsut’s temple in Luxor and whose home is now being moved by the Egyptian government in order to protect the tombs. Khaled speaks of those who continue to practise the old ways.

Section three: Stan Kurowski has settled in Egypt and is fascinated by the culture. Semi-retired, he spends his time studying Egyptology and photographing the beautiful sites of which he suggests a few that are not on the official tour guide.

Section four: Ronnie Hudson is a sculptor and artist who has built not only her home but a garden in the desert at Luxor.  She was always drawn to Egypt since childhood and senses her home might not have been built just for her…
